About this calendar
A plain-English roundup of publicly announced oil and gas lease sales, built from the offices that run them.
- Sources. Dates and details come from the official notices published by each seller: the New Mexico State Land Office, the Texas General Land Office, the Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office, and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Each office is the source of its own schedule, and every sale below links to that office.
- Dates can change. Lease sales get postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled, and some are marked tentative by the office itself. Always confirm the date, terms, and tracts against the official notice before you rely on it.
- Assembled by hand, refreshed regularly. We gather these from the government sites and keep them current, but a date can move after we post it. If something looks off, the official notice is the last word, and we would be glad to hear about it.
- Not advice. This is general information for planning. It is not legal, title, investment, or bidding advice, and it is not an offer to sell or lease anything.
